The structure and the beneficial of our playground(Nurin Farisah)
playground or play area is an area designed for children to play, indoors or outdoors. Modern playgrounds often have recreational equipment such as the see-saw, merry-go-round, swingset, slide, jungle gym, chin-up bars, sandbox, spring rider, monkey bars, overhead ladder and mazes, many of which help children develop physical coordination, strength, and flexibility, as well as providing recreation and enjoyment.
The structure of a playground should be huge so that many children can play together at a point of time. Some people might think that playgrounds are not relly benefial to children as children might always play non-stop and always hurt themselves while playing.
Sorry to say, playgrounds ARE beneficial for children. Even thought children play at the playground non-stop, it really helps the children as children will learn to adapt to being socialable and not anti-social.
Playgrounds too help children to develop confidence in making new friends and help children to learn about the skills they are good in. For example, children might get to know that they can run very fast or jump really high. This would help to boost the confidence in small children.
The playgrounds too help children to develop thinking skills. For example, playgrounds have a corner for mind and thinking challenging games for children like 'tic tac toe', 'match the picture correctly', 'maze' and a game of 'pinball'. This helps children to think while having great fun.
For parents who are really particular in his or her child's safety, relax. Playgrounds are all very safe for the children. As for our playground, the flooring of the playground would not cause any wounds to the children as the flooring is very smooth. Some parents might worry about the wheather being too hot or too cold for his or her child. Dont worry! Our playground is in an enclosure. The enclosure can maintain the temperature. It would not be too cold or too hot. So, even during the rainy season, children can still play the playground and have fun.
